I'm NOT Hard Core

By all means, I am NOT hard core. At all. But we have been training for the Las Vegas Ragnar Relay. It's coming up way sooner than I'd like to admit. 22nd and 23rd of October. Even though I'm not the best runner at all, lately I have totally been obsessed with running shoes, shorts, bras, socks, random crap.
I've always loved getting new workout clothes. Something about it just gives me a bit more motivation to workout. The mentality that since I'll be looking cute in the outfit, I need to wear it more often. I have been to Sports Authority, Dick's and Al's a ton over the past month. I wish I could buy everything. But in all practicality, I'm just a snob. What do I mean? All I want is the best NIKE stuff. Not just anything. So, that means I don't buy anything. I guess that's a good thing for us, but still leaves me wanting more. I know. I'm a nerd, but those are the facts. Just sayin.

Brooke and Brady

When I had a day off, I went to see Brooke and Brady. We had lunch together and walked around Gateway. It was so much fun, especially since I hadn't seen either of them since the little guy was born. Doesn't she look amazing? Ya, she had that little dude at the end of June.
I know. I'm an awful friend. But, we caught up over our old Provo Pasttime: Happy Sumo. Delish. We spent many many lunch breaks and dinner dates at that restaurant.
Such a gem. So, it was great to go there together in Salt Lake. Brooke and I have known each other for 8 years now. Such a long time. We've been through a ton, and it's so wonderful to still be friends and be a part of each others lives.

Just a few additions...

Last trip to Colorado was fantastic. Here are a few highlights! Purpose, as always, was to see family. Jen and Dustin had Brody's baby blessing. Dustin did a great job and it was so nice. Momma and Baby B after the blessing:

After the blessing, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a luncheon. Our family and the Trails all gathered and had a lovely time. We get a few pics of the twins and baby trail. Aren't they all so perfect?

I finally got a pic of Em, Aaron and their twins. Cute, huh? Love their little family... well, its not that little anymore, I guess.

Collin and I got to take a pic with my awesome Grandpa too. His memory isn't too good anymore, so my mom and Grandma collaborated their efforts to create Grandpa a book of memories from the family. Everyone in the fam wrote him a letter and put a picture with it. So this is our new pic to go with the letter/book.
Every year, Cory and Tiffany take their kids to Casa Bonita. Someone said Casa Bonita is like mixing Disneyland and Tijuana, Mexico. Pretty accurate. They have a cliff diver, haunted cave, arcade, and so many crazy things making an interesting combo. Not to mention it's in a pretty loco part of Denver. I hadn't been to the "beautiful house" in years. (That day, Sadie said... "we're going to the beautiful house today... i don't speak spanish." Funny Girl!) Anyway, the food was terrible, as always, the sopapillas were NOT a disappointment and the skiball was fab. Such a fun time.

Hanging out with the family is so great! I love going to Colorado to visit. Our nieces and nephews are irresistable.
Sadie and Jaxon doing front flips on my parents trampoline.
Ruby and Peyton (best buddies) hangin out at the lake.
SO FUN!
