Down to Business!

Christmas was phenomenal, naturally! I'm still on cloud 9, and I'm sure it'll stay that way until March 14 (the big day) and hopefully a long time after that. Once Collin went back to Utah on Christmas night, we knew it was time to get down to business. I've finally come to the conclusion that Mom has a secret mode or setting where she can accomplish just about anything in any amount of time. I've always known this, but we have certainly put her to the test, getting engaged on 12/25/2008 and having only until 3/14/2009. Quick math: 79 days to plan a wedding. Well, it's January 18 and we are down t0 exactly 8 weeks. We've been busy planning and getting things done! We have a temple date, a dress, shoes, a venue, flowers, hair appointment/style, colors, and lots of other little details that I can't think of right now, but most of it is done, or nearly done. Like I said, my mom is a phenom! She works miracles! Still workin on Invitations and.... ya that's pretty much it! Invitations! Kind of a big deal, I guess, but hopefully that will come together within the next few days! Collin and I have been busy too! We had some engagement pics taken by his best bud and we're taking some more next weekend in San Diego. Collin's other best bud (the bro of the photographer) is getting married so we're going to SD for that and Collin wants to show me all the great places from his childhood! We also found a place to live in Logan, and I'm still looking for a job! Hopefully all my job hunting skills will pay off soon!! It's been a crazy, but super fun last couple of weeks, and I'm sure the next ones to come will add to that too! :) I love my life!
