Anniv Wknd!

What a fabulous weekend! We had such a great time celebrating our first year of marriage. Friday night, we stayed at the Marriott here in Logan. We had considered going to here but the rooms that were available seemed pretty cheesy. Kind of hilarious actually. The price wasn't our fav so we opted out and went with the classy Marriott. Conveniently enough, our favorite restaurant here is Elements, which is SO yummy. These drinks and our appetizer (Ahi Tuna Spring Rolls) were the only visually appealing part of our dinner. The main dishes looked gross in the pic I took, although VERY tasty!

Then on Saturday, luckily neither of us had to work, so we went down to SLC for a bit of shopping. There were a couple of things that we had both been needing and Collin never spent his birthday $$, so we went down with the intention of not being practical. And that's exactly what happened. We couldn't resist though. We rarely go shopping, and Collin really needed a suit. So we got him 2. And me 1. But doesn't he look dapper?

We did our shopping at Nordys and had an early dinner at Cheesecake Factory. Even though the weather was less than cooperative with all the rain and sleet, we had a great time in Salt Lake.

Here we are after church so happy to be so in love and to have had such a great Anniversary. Yep! We love each other!
